VICTORIA DUMENG
Writer and Illustrator

Hey there! My name is Victoria, the artist/writer/creative behind Stories by Toria!

My journey as a creative started back in 2013 with a B.F.A. in Illustration and nearly ended as a dream buried under limiting beliefs. However, when Covid hit, I made the decision to apprehensively pick up the metaphorical shovel and reconnect with art, which thankfully led to a healthier mindset and a renewed passion for creating.

I am now actively enjoying character design and storytelling, and I hope to bring at least one or two original stories to life in visual and/or written form. I enjoy both fanart and original work, so you'll be able to find both throughout my website!

I am equally drawn to action/adventure/fantasy as I am to meaningful romance and/or relationship development, so I tend to balance those genres in my work.

My dream is to see (and create) more intentional, healthy, and inclusive media, and I am largely inspired by media such as Avatar: The Last Airbender/Korra, anime such as Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji), the Tales of games, Sherlock Holmes inspired works, and, most recently, Baldur's Gate 3 and the world of TTRPGs.

Somewhat adjacent to my art/writing, I am also hoping to empower and support other creatives/people who are looking to craft unique lifestyles that nurture their natural habits, desires, and rhythms.
